Special Ticket Offer to Richard III Featuring Michael Patrick Thornton and RIC’s Robotic Exoskeleton

Since its stage debut on March 10th, the first-ever use of ReWalk, a robotic exoskeleton worn by RIC patient and Foundation Board member Michael Patrick Thornton, has garnered praise from several theater critics.

According to Chicago Tribune, “(the) RIC has put out a news release noting that this is the first time the ReWalk exoskeleton has been used in a live theatrical production, and it makes quite an entrance. But its artistic use is very profound and not a gimmick at all.”

RIC is offering an employee discount for the play, running through May 1st, 2016.  Below are the details:

The special RIC code is “RICGIFT“. It is good for $5 off any performance, and can be used for online ticket purchases or by calling the box office.

When: Through May 1

Where: Steppenwolf’s Garage Theatre, 1624 N. Halsted St, Chicago

Running time: 2 hours, 35 minutes

Tickets: $30-$40 at 312-335-1650 or steppenwolf.org
